Lab and Kennel Staff
Sandy is new to Georgia, but not new to vet medicine. After living in Colorado Springs for 40 years, she has decided to move closer to family and call the beautiful state of Georgia home. While Sandy has always had a soft spot for animals, the passing of her childhood dog was the catalyst for a career in veterinary medicine. Sandy received her veterinary technician license from PIMA in Colorado and gets to spend each day doing what she loves. You can find her helping with blood draws, dental cleanings and chatting with clients. She enjoys getting to know and educating our clients. She is a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Sandy loves to spend time with family, hiking, playing games being a one-woman pit crew for her son's motorcycle races. She is also a talented DIY-er, loving to build things and use power tools. She has one dog, Buddy, and a kitty cat, Susie.
From a young age Savannah took a keen interest in animals. You could find her saving birds that fell from their nests and taking care of squirrels and baby rabbits. She even helped a wild goat birth her twins. Now, you can find her working as a vet assistant and giving the same compassionate care and love to our patients. You'll see her greeting sick patients and assisting doctors with yearly exams.
Savannah's greatest achievement so far (there is more to come!) is working hard to earn her veterinary assistant certificate and working at a veterinary office. It took lots of dedication and commitment. Another great achievement in Savannah's life is meeting and marrying her husband, Chris. They enjoy fishing, hiking, swimming and barbecues with friends.
